This module generates a calendar covering a chosen period of time (typically a month) for an employee. The report will contain details on each day :
- Working hours : extracted from the employee's contract working schedule
- Worked hours : calculated based on attendances
- Leave : Indicates if employee is on leave that day
- Public Holiday : Indicates if that day is a public holiday
How To Install
First, make sure you have Employees, Attendances, Leaves, Contracts and Leaves modules are installed and working.
To access this module in Odoo you need to have Manager level in Employee, Leave and Attendance Groups
PS: All these modules are already marked as dependencies for this module so they will be installed automatically when you try to Install this one.
Moreover, this module contains a custom version of "Hr Holiday Exclude Special Days", so if you have it already installed, you must remove it before continuing.
How to use
1 - Employees and contracts:
First create your employees and their contracts. This step is important to determine every employee's working hours.
Go to the employee, click on Contracts, click Create or if it already has a contract edit it. Finally choose the corresponding working schedule.
2 - Leaves:
Since this module checks working days from the employee's contract, your Leave Days number now depends on your Employee Working Schedule,
For example, if a worker doesn't have Saturday/Sunday in his Working Schedule, those will not be added to his Leave days Number
In the picture above the employee doesn't work on Saturdays and Sundays and so those are not calculated in his Leave days Number(5 days)
Working Schedule without contracts is supported by this module but the number of leave days will be different because Odoo calculates it based on number of working hours instead of days.
3 - Public Holidays
This module adds a Submenu "Public Holiday" in "Leaves->Configuration" that allows you to manage those holidays
PS: Public Holidays are also excluded in Leave days number calculation.
4 - Reports
In your Employees Application, you will find a new Attendance Report sub-menu like this one
You can now generate your reports for the Employees you want to check from the submenu "Generate Reports"
To access those reports, go to the "Attendance Report->Reports List"
Reports can only be created using the "Generate Reports" wizard, and once they are generated, they cannot be modified. If the employee's schedule,attendances,leaves or public leaves change after the report creation, then the report will no longer be valid because it won't be updated with new values.
The report will contain:
- Attendance: The work sessions(checkins - checkouts intervals) the employee did work
- Working H.: The number of hours the Employee had to work in that day(based on his contract work schedule)
- Worked H.: The sum of worked hours(sessions intervals) the Employee worked
- Normal H.: The Worked hours that the Employee is supposed to attend
- Add H.: The Additional Hours the Employee worked that day
- Extra Add H.: The Hours an Employee Worked in a non working day(exp: Holiday)
- Totals: The Sum of every column in the report
The only editable variable in the attendance report is the Working H., once you changed that value and saved, the sums in the last line of the report will be updated as well

Generate Report Redirect
Once a Report is Generated, you are not directly redirected to the new report webpage, this is a known issue that is quite confusing. Make sure you navigate properly to the reports list every time you generate a new one.
