Putaway Rules on Product

This module add functionality to create Putaway Rules for products.
Using this functionality user can decide that different products will be stored on which location when its arrive on a particular Stock location.

Configuration

  • Select Storage Location and Multi-Step Routes in Inventory Configuration > Settings
  • Now, Create one Put Away Strategy for Location

  • In this wizard user can define Products and Location to use putaway rules product wise.
  • User can also define Products Category and Location to use putaway rules category wise.
  • From Putaway Rules smart button, user can see all product/category wise Putaway Rules defined for this location.
  • Putaway Rules defined for the location WH/Stock will be shown in below screenshot.
  • From this list view user can create/update/delete the Putaway rules.
  • From Putaway Rules smart button on Product, user can see all putaway rules defined for that product.
  • Creation of PO and Receive Shipment.

  • Here Purchase Order PO00008 is created and confirmed.
  • In shipment WH/IN/00006, To location is automatically assign from the putaway rules defined for that product.
  • After receiving shipment, User can see available stock on perticular Location by clicking on Current Stocksmart button.
