Payment Follow-up Management
Payment Follow-up Management application makes simpler organizing customer payment reminders and getting paid on time. This module provides features of follow-up plans, automatic sending of payment reminder mails, sending letters etc.
- Define Follow-up Plans.
- Automatically send payment reminder mail.
- Perform manual actions.
Follow-Up Action: Name of Follow-Up Action.
Due Days: The number of days after the due date of the invoice to wait before sending the reminder. Could be negative if you want to send a polite alert beforehand.
Manual Action: When processing, it will set the manual action to be taken for that customer.
Send an Email: When processing, it will send an email.
Action To Do: Manual action to perform.
e.g. Give a phone call, check with others.
Email Template: Email template to send when processing particular follow-up level.
Click on SEND EMAILS AND GENERATE LETTERS button to send reminder mails, set manual action and prepare letters based on defined follow-up levels. It will show summary of actions performed.
Click on DOWNLOAD LETTERS to download and send letters to customers.

Next Action Date: This is when the manual follow-up is needed.
The date will be set to the current date when the partner gets a follow-up level that requires a manual action. Can be practical to set manually e.g. to see if he keeps his promises.
Next Action: This is the next action to be taken. It will automatically be set when the partner gets a follow-up level that requires a manual action.
Follow-up Responsible: Optionally you can assign a user to this field, which will make him responsible for the action.
