Recently Viewed Records helps Odoo users quickly access the records they have recently opened or worked on. Instead of searching through menus and lists again, users can return to their previous records with just a click.

Quick Access to Recently Viewed Records :
Easily access your recently opened records from a dedicated recent records option. Return to any previously viewed record with just one click. Save time by avoiding repeated searches through menus and list views.
Automatic Record History :
Records are automatically added to the recently viewed history when users access them. The history keeps track of the user's latest activities without requiring manual input. This provides a simple and convenient way to continue previous work.
Easy Record Navigation :
Click any record from the recent list to open it directly. Users can quickly jump between frequently accessed records without losing their workflow. This makes navigation across different Odoo applications much faster.
User-Specific Record History :
Each user can access their own recently viewed records securely. Users only see the records maintained in their own history according to their access rights. This keeps personal navigation history organized and protected.
Admin Access to User History :
Administrators can review recently viewed records associated with users when required. This provides better visibility for managing user activity and troubleshooting workflows. Access remains controlled through Odoo's existing security and permissions.
Persistent Record History :

Users can view their recently viewed records by clicking the "Eye" icon. They can also see the total count of recently viewed records.
