Vehicle Rental Management with Website
Vehicle Rental Management Website extends the Vehicle Rental Management backend app with a complete online rental experience for customers. It allows website visitors to search available vehicles by category, pickup and return date and time, rental price type, and price range, review vehicle details and rental rates, submit booking enquiries, and receive booking confirmation directly from the website. Customers can also access generated rental invoices from the portal, review outstanding amounts, download invoices, and continue with online payment when available. The Vehicle Rental Management backend app should be installed and configured first because it controls vehicle availability, rental pricing, booking records, rental contracts, payment installments, invoices, and internal rental operations.

Online Vehicle Search & Booking
Allow customers to search available rental vehicles directly from the website using vehicle category, pickup and return date, pricing type, and price range. Customers can compare vehicle details and rental rates for daily, per-kilometer, and per-mile pricing. They can then select a preferred vehicle and submit a complete booking enquiry online.
Complete Rental Contract & Payment Management
Convert website or backend booking requests into structured vehicle rental contracts with customer, vehicle, pickup, drop-off, rental rate, payment, deposit, and signature details. Rental staff can move contracts through operational stages, create payment installments, and generate invoices directly from the contract. This keeps the complete rental and billing workflow connected in one place.
Customer Portal Invoice & Online Payment
Give customers access to their rental invoices from the website portal through My Account. Customers can review invoice details, due dates, outstanding amounts, payment status, and linked rental information. They can also download invoices and use the available Pay Now option to complete outstanding rental payments online.

1.) Search and Browse Available Rental Vehicles
Customers can search available rental vehicles by selecting the vehicle category, pickup and return date and time, rental price type, and preferred price range. The page displays matching vehicles with their category, license plate, model year, transmission, fuel type, and available per-day, per-kilometer, and per-mile rental rates. Customers can review the available options and click Book Now to continue with the selected vehicle.

2.) Complete the Vehicle Booking Enquiry
Customers can review the selected vehicle, license plate, and available rental rates before confirming their reservation request. The booking form allows customers to select pickup and return date and time, choose the rental price type, and enter their name, phone number, and email address. The system automatically calculates the rental duration and estimated amount before the customer submits the booking enquiry.

3.) Booking Enquiry Confirmation
After submitting the booking enquiry, customers receive a confirmation page with a complete summary of their rental request. The page displays the selected vehicle, pickup and return date and time, rental price type, requested rate, total rental days, and estimated rental amount. Customers can also use Browse More Vehicles to return to the vehicle listing and continue exploring available rentals.

4.) Manage Website and Backend Vehicle Bookings
The Vehicle Booking list provides a centralized view of all rental booking requests created from both the website and backend. Each booking displays the customer, booking source, requested vehicle, pickup date, and return date, allowing rental staff to quickly identify website enquiries and manage them together with manually created bookings.

5.) Review Website Booking and Assign a Vehicle
Rental staff can open a website booking to review the customer information, rental dates, requested vehicle, requested price type, and requested rental rate. The Vehicle section lists available vehicles with license plate, model year, transmission, fuel type, and category details. Staff can click Book on the preferred vehicle to assign it to the booking and continue with the rental process.

6.) Review and Configure the Rental Contract
After assigning the vehicle, the system creates a rental contract containing the customer, pickup and drop-off details, selected vehicle, transmission, fuel type, odometer, rent type, payment method, extra charges, deposit information, and payment options. The contract is initially created in the New stage, where rental staff can review all details before moving the rental into progress.

7.) Start the Rental Contract
Rental staff can move the contract from the New stage to In Progress once the rental is ready to begin. The system updates the rental details with the selected rate, total rental days, total rental charge, payment configuration, responsible user, signing date, and customer signature, providing a complete record for the active rental period.

8.) Create Rental Payment Installment
Once the rental contract is in progress, staff can use the Create Installment action to generate the required payment schedule for the contract. The installment is created according to the selected payment type and rental amount, helping the rental team organize customer payments before generating the corresponding invoice.

9.) Create Invoice from Rental Installment
After the payment installment is generated, the installment details appear under the Vehicle Payment Option section with the invoice item, installment name, payment date, payment amount, and payment status. Rental staff can use the Create Invoice action to generate the corresponding customer invoice directly from the rental installment, keeping the billing process connected with the rental contract.

10.) Review the Generated Rental Invoice
The generated customer invoice displays the linked rental contract, customer details, invoice date, due date, invoice product, quantity, unit price, taxes, total amount, and outstanding balance. Rental staff can use standard invoice actions such as Send, Print, Pay, Preview, Credit Note, or Reset to Draft while keeping the invoice connected with the corresponding rental contract.The generated customer invoice displays the linked rental contract, customer details, invoice date, due date, invoice product, quantity, unit price, taxes, total amount, and outstanding balance. 11.) Access Rental Invoices from My Account
Customers can access their account dashboard from the website user menu and open the Your Invoices section to manage rental-related invoices. The portal provides a convenient place to follow invoice status, review billing information, download invoices, and continue with online payment when an outstanding amount is available.

12.) View and Pay Rental Invoices from the Customer Portal
Customers can view all available invoices from the Invoices & Bills portal page, including the invoice number, invoice date, due date, outstanding amount, and current payment status. Outstanding rental invoices display a Pay Now action, allowing customers to quickly identify unpaid invoices and continue with the online payment process directly from the portal.
