Do I need Odoo Enterprise or a paid SMS gateway?
No. This module runs on vanilla Odoo 19 Community. Dunning works via email by default. If you have sale_subscription or an SMS module installed, dunning lights up extra features, but neither is required.
Can I customize the dunning policy?
Fully. You define as many dunning policies as you want. Each has its own retry steps, email templates, escalation rules, and write-off thresholds. One policy per company, or multiple per company for different customer segments.
What about returns from customers in different countries?
EU Consumer Rights Directive says 14-day withdrawal; Germany's national law adds 30 days. Return window is configurable per company. RMA reason codes flag “statutory” vs. “goodwill” returns so you know your legal obligations.
