Returnable Deposit for Point of Sale
Charge bottle and container deposits automatically at the till, and refund returned empties against each customer's real ledger balance - no more guessing what a shopper is owed.
Deposit On Scan
Scanning a deposit-carrying product adds the matching deposit line automatically, at the configured deposit price.
Quantities Stay In Sync
Change the product quantity on the numpad and the deposit line follows; remove the product and its deposit goes too.
Return Containers Button
One tap in the POS Actions menu shows the customer's outstanding containers straight from the ledger, with a Max shortcut per container.
Over-Refund Protection
Refund quantities are capped at what the customer actually holds, so nobody gets paid twice for the same crate.
One Ledger Everywhere
POS deposits and refunds land in the same central ledger as backend sales, so balances match across every channel.
Command Center KPI
Installing this app adds a live POS Out / Returned Today card to the Deposit Command Center dashboard.
Compatibility Notice
This module is tested and certified to work with the vanilla (standard, unmodified) edition of Odoo Community and Enterprise. It depends on the standard Point of Sale module and on our Returnable Deposit & Container Ledger app, which must be installed first.
If your Point of Sale (or any customized POS screen, order-line logic or third-party POS theme) has been modified by another developer, the automatic deposit lines and the Return Containers dialog may not render or function as expected. Please contact our support team before purchasing if you are running a heavily customized Odoo instance.
