Configuration

You have to give right to user for using SMS Gateway functionality


SMS Gateway

Here you can enter SMS gateway details


Send Mass SMS /Send SMS

In Partner Tree/Form View you can see menu for send mass SMS or send SMS


Send Mass SMS /Send SMS wizard

In wizard you have to enter details about phone number and message content and send it to partner.



Message Queue

In this view you can see messages which are in queue.


Message History

In this view you can see messages which are sent.

The App now works very well. Allows you to send SMS messages using an SMS gateway that you can install on your phone/modem. Well done. 5 Stars

How to configure SMS gateway, and can it be used to both send and receive text messages?

I downloaded it and installed it.  First thing is to configure an SMS gateway.  I have no idea what to enter.  I simply want to be able to RECEIVE messages that I send FROM my phone TO my local Odoo.  For now I probably won't send messages from my local Odoo to my phone.  Do you have a sample gateway config?  Or actually, it would be best if you could explain what is meant by "Gateway Name", "Gateway URL" and API method.  I see you've shown a sample of "parameters to pass with URL".  I assume these are used when sending from Odoo to a phone, right?  I probably wouldn't need these if all I'm using this module for is RECEIVING messages FROM my phone, right?

SMS Stuck at Queued.

We also noted that the SMS messages remain in the Queued state.

great add on... works fine in Brazil.
