Odoo Voice
Odoo Voice is a module for connecting Amazon Alexa with your Odoo database. You can listen to audio responses from your Amazon Alexa Echo series devices or Amazon Alexa mobile app. You can get details about meeting, sales, projects, or users with no tasks, by just using voice. It enables the option of handsfree and eyes free interaction, for getting any kind of information from Odoo. After setting up this module on your Odoo follow the steps mentioned below.

1: Login Into Amazon Alexa
2: Install Alexa Skill
3: Invoke Odoo Voice
This skill can be used on Andriod or iOS version of Amazon Alexa app or Amazon echo devices respectively, in order to listen to audio responses from Alexa. View the screenshot below on how to invoke this skill on your device.
4: Login to our portal
A card will be sent on your Amazon Alexa app, with the credentials to login to our portal. Use these credentials to login to our portal https://odoovoice.pragmatic-voice.com
5: Add your Odoo Instance on our portal.
Enter your Odoo instance details, as displayed in the screenshot below.
6: Now test connection for your instance.
Once connection to your instance is successful, it will take an hour to sync data with Alexa. You may also manually call the scheduler name Data generator for instant Data generation.
7: Call scheduler manually (Optional).
If you want instant data for your Alexa. Then switch your Odoo to debug mode and then click on Settings -> Automation -> Scheduled Actions -> Data Generator -> Click Run Manually Note: Depending on the number of transactions in your Odoo instance, the sync may take a while.

Odoo Voice
Odoo Voice module helps in connecting Amazon Alexa echo series devices, with your Odoo instance. This helps in listening to the audio responses from Alexa.
Installation
To install this module, follow the steps below:
- Download the module, unzip it, and add it to your Odoo addons folder.
- Restart Odoo server and log in to your Odoo portal. After successful login, go to Apps menu.
- Update the app list by clicking on the Update Apps List link. Install the Odoo Voice module by clicking on the install button.
- Following modules account, calendar, crm, project, sale and stock are mandatory for successful installation.
Upgrade
To upgrade this module, you need to:
Download the module and add it to your Odoo addons folder. Restart the server and log-in to your Odoo server. Now select Odoo Voice application from your installed apps, and upgrade the module by clicking on the upgrade button.
Requirements
To use this module, you need an Alexa device or Alexa app on your mobile device.
Login to your Amazon Alexa app. You can download the Amazon Alexa app from Google play store or iOS store.
- If you have an Alexa device, then configure your device using the links provided below:
i: First Generation Alexa device.
ii: Second Generation Alexa device.
After successful configuration of your Alexa device enable a skill with the name Odoo Voice from Alexa skills store.
