Global Sales & Purchase Discount with Tax calculation in Odoo version 10
This module would help you to add fixed or percentage based discount on total amount for sales, purchases and invoicing.
This module developed by Globalteckz team is to add discount on your total sales further it helps you to calculate taxes after the discount is applied.

As you can see we are in Odoo version 10 to initiate with the process we will click on Accounting and then Chart of Accounts as showed in the below figure

In the below image we can see that we have set up different discount accounts such as Purchase discount & Sales discount so you can check the amount of discount in Chart of Accounts.

Let's start with the flow of preparing the Quotation.
For preparing the quotation we will click on Sales - Quotation and then click on the create button.
Fill in all the necessary details while preparing the quotation as showed in the below figure.
After filling the necessary details click on Apply Discount Check box You can put the quantity and the price Taxes calculation is also done based on the taxes define You can also select the discount type based on the discount you want to provide to your client it can be fixed or based on percentage.
Here you can see we have selected the percentage method of discount which can further decide based on the % that needs to be given.

Now let's see the purchase discount flow for that you can click on Purchase management Module
Let's start with the flow of preparing the RFQ - For that we will go into Request for Quotation and fill out the necessary details including the first part which is checkbox on "Apply discount" further you can set up the quantity and prices which will calculate the total including the taxes you define. you can also apply discount based on fixed or percentage based.
Here you can see we have selected the fixed method of discount which can further decide based on the needs.

Setting up of Maximum Discount Limits
To set up maximum limits of discount allowed as an admin you can go to purchase - Discount - Discount types - To set up the maximum limits on fixed and percentage basis you can click on the respective discounts.
