Quant merge

Odoo splits quants each time a reservation is done: this module makes Odoo merge them back if they still meet the following requirements:

  • same product
  • same serial number/lot
  • same location
  • same package

The merge is done automatically when a reservation is undone. No user intervention is needed.

Hi, your module works great but can you please tell me why odoo split quants at first place, any idea and any way to avoid it ? as for us it become a real hell, now we have hundreds thousands of quants in database and its killing the performance that normal simple task are taking 5 minutes. if a move is created lets say of 5 liters of an item it creates 2,000 to 3,000 quants with very small quantity like 0.1 ml. Any idea, logic, customization or configuration to avoid this ?
