POS Return Workflows

Way to have a return workflow for point of sale

Features:

  • Sale Return & Refund - cancel sales order, partial/full delivery return and partial/full invoice refund

Restrictions & Validations:

  • Selection of Sale Order is mandatory
  • At least one order line is required before return
  • Product selection is restricted
  • Price change is restricted
  • Discount change is restricted
  • Customer change is restricted
  • Returning more than the remaining quantity is restricted
  • Cancelling a journal/journal entry must be enabled

Sale Return & Refund Workflow

Sale Return & Refund workflow has the same POS data with Create POS Order workflow. It uses product sale price and customer data. But first, you need to select a Sale Order.

When Sale Order button is clicked, it will show new screen that lists all confirmed sales orders. Select a sale order to be returned and refunded, and then click the Set Sales Order.

After selecting a sales order, it will lead you back to POS with the details of the selected sales order.

If you want to return partially, you need to decrease the quantity or remove an order line. But if you want to return all, leave as is. Then click Return & Refund Sale button.

When Return & Refund Sale button is clicked, it will show new popup window to enter Reason of Return / Return Notes.

On this window, you can choose between Return & Print or Return Only. Return Only will cancel the sale order only if all order lines are returned, cancel/return a picking and cancel invoices and their payments. Return & Print is the same with Return Only but the order in POS will redirect to print receipt.

Configuration

Easy setup of return workflow for each point of sales

POS return workflow configuration is as easy as ABC. Configuration can be found in Point of Sale > Configuration > Point of Sale.

Selection of POS return workflow is only Sale Return & Refund, for now. Create POS Order is the default workflow for Odoo POS.

Estimados mi pregunta es: ¿Es compatible con la versión 12? ¿Sirve tanto para versión comunidad como para versión Enterprice? ¿En el caso de tener algún problema nos dan soporte? Gracias por sus respuestas
