- This application is the base application that provide solid platform to manage your cargo

- Install it as usual then you are done
Concepts
- Manage Cargo Packing Types
- Cargo Packing Type is a model that hold the records of packing type definition (e.g. bulk, bale, container, etc). Users can define unlimited packing types to serve their management
- Each Cargo Packing Type record contains the following information
- Name: the unique name of the packing type
- Stowage Factor: In shipping, the stowage factor indicates how many cubic meters of space one metric ton of a particular type of cargo occupies in a hold
- Product: A service product that represents transportation service for the cargo in this packing type
- Default UoM Category: Default Unit of Measure Category for cargo types belonging to this category
- Manage cargo types. For example: Cont. 20ft, Cont. 40ft, Grain in Bales, Grain in Bulk, etc
- Cargo Type is a model that hold the records of specific cargo type of a cargo packing type definition (e.g. Cont. 20ft, Cont. 40ft, Grain in Bales, Grain in Bulk, etc). Users can define unlimited cargo types to serve their management
- Each Cargo Type contains the following information
- Name: the unique name of the cargo type
- Packing Type: the packing type to which the cargo type belong. For example, you could define "Container" as a Packing Type, then you could define Cont. 20ft and Cont. 40ft as cargo types in Container packing type
- Product: A service product that represents transportation service for the cargo in this type
- Unit of Measure: the default unit of measure for the cargo in this type
- Dimensions: contains the most standard dimensions for the cargo of this type, which will be used as the default value for new cargo of this type in the future
- Cargo Packages: the list of cargo packages of this type in your system, for statistic
- etc
- Cargo Package: is the smallest unit in the cargo area. It could be created manually or generated from a Cargo which is a larger unit.
