Odoo 12 User Biometric Registration using Digital Persona
Note: This module is tested and working in Odoo community edition
but not tested in Enterprise version. And we are supporting Ubuntu OS and not Windows OS.
Features
- User can Register different Fingers.
Requirements
- Device required for this module : Digital Persona 4500 Fingerprint Biometrics
- Copy node application and put into safe folder. Now open terminal and go to that folder and install library with Following Commands:
- sudo add-apt-repository ppa:fingerprint/fprint
- sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
- sudo apt-get install libfprint0 fprint-demo libpam-fprintd
Setup Node js application
- Install Node application into client machine Where device is attached.
How to use
- Once node app running. Open odoo server Go to General Settings -> Enable biometric and Enter Node URL(Port must be same as you can see in terminal)
- By clicking on Register Biometric button pop-up will be open, select desired finger and scan.
- By clicking on Confirm Biometric button all the scanned fingerprint will be confirm.
- User can see his/her related registered fingerprint counts here as well as user can register new fingerprints by clicking the spot.
- Scan selected Finger.
- After Successfull scanning you can save, rescan and Go back.
- User can select multiple records here and Confirm the related Biometric by clicking Action -> Confirm Biometric.
NOTE: We give 60 days support for our customers. Before trying in your live db, please ask us to provide you for test link. If any other custom modules are installed and because of that some errors occurs then we charge extra.
