Purchase Order High Price Approval
Odoo App to Restrict Employee from Confirming Purchase Order, if Price of Any Product is Higher than Previous Order's Product Price
Odoo App to Restrict Purchase Order Confirmation for Price Changes
This Odoo app helps you to restrict employees from confirming purchase orders if the price
of any product is higher than the previous order's product price, or if there is no previous
order found. This can help you to prevent overspending and ensure that you
are getting the best deals on your purchases.
Once you have configured the settings, whenever employees try to confirm a purchase order,
the system will check the price of each product against the previous order's price. If the
price of any product is higher, or if there is no previous order, the order
will be moved to the "To Price Approval" state. Only users with authenticated rights will be
able to confirm orders in this state.
FEATURES

While confirming purchase order, it checks last 5 purchase order's product

If any of the product's price is greater than last 5 purchase order's products then purchase
order will go into 'To Price Approval' state

If there is no previous Purchase Orders then it will also go into 'To Price Approval'
State

Only authorized users can confirm purchase orders from 'To Price Approval' state

Indicates red lines into order lines if order might go into 'To Price Approval' state

Button in each line which will show purchase history for particular product for last 5

Note: User must have to enable this feature for specific company, from company form

User can also view purchase history of product into product screen
Enable Price Approval Feature for specific Company
To use the Odoo Purchase Order Price Approval app, you must first enable the price approval feature for the specific company that you want to use it with.
Purchase Order : with product which has no previous orders
The purchase order is highlighted in red because there is no previous purchase order for any of the products on the order.
Purchase Order goes into 'To Price Approval' state
The purchase order goes to the "To Price Approval" state because there are no previous orders for the products on the order.
Authenticated User Right
Purchase orders in the "To Price Approval" state can only be confirmed by users with the "Purchase Order: Price Approval" role.
Another Order with same Product
The purchase order will also go into the "To Price Approval" state because the price of the product is higher than the previous order.
Last 5 Purchase Orders
Use "Purchase Status" button to view previous orders for current product
Purchase Order History into Product Screen
The product screen links to all purchase order history for that product.
