Attachment From Google Drive
This application helps to add attachment from google drive.
Basic Features
- This application provides facility to add attachment directly from Google Drive.
- Multiple files can be attached on single click.
Below are steps to enable Google Drive API and get client credentials
Sign in with your Google account in the reserved area where you can configure
Google APIs, from this URL: https://console.developers.google.com/apis/library.
Search Google Drive and click on it.
Click on Enable to enable use Google Drive API.
Click on create to create new project or you can use your existing project
also.
Enter Project Name and click on create.
In the left menu ("API and Services"), click on "OAuth consent screen", select
external and click on create.
Enter your Odoo domain in Authorized domain and click on save.
In the left menu ("API and Services"), click on "Credentials", Click on Create
credentials and select OAuth client ID.
Select Web Application, Enter Relevant Name for credentials and enter URL of
your Odoo in Authorized JavaScript origins and Authorized redirect URLs then
click on create.
Here you will find Client ID, copy it and paste on Odoo General Settings form as
describe in next screen.
After installation of this application below configuration will appear in
General Settings form and configure client id.
Odoo Chatter/Mail/Message section you will find one button Add Attachments from
Google Drive. After click on it Google Drive File picker will open
After click on add attachment from drive above image will help to select file
user want to add in odoo. (Note: Not created by google, user can download that
file in any extension and add into drive then import that file)
Selected file can import in odoo by single click.
