After installing our module, the Pricelist menu will become available under the Products menu
Create a pricelist and add a pricelist item to define vendor-specific purchase rules. Specify the supplier, how the final price is calculated (fixed, discount, or formula), and set the base price. You can target a category, product, or variant, and define a minimum quantity for the rule to apply.
Displayed here are the pricing rules for the same product the Customizable Desk from two separate vendors.
In the Product Template under the Purchase tab, you can view all existing purchase pricelists and add a new one for a specific product template.
Navigate to the Inventory app ‣ Configuration ‣ Product Categories. Under the Purchase Pricelist tab, you can view existing pricelists and add a new one for the category.
In the Product Variant under the Purchase tab, you can view all existing purchase pricelists and add a new one for a specific variant.
In the purchase flow, vendor rules have the highest priority, while pricelist rules are applied only when no vendor-specific pricing is defined
Since the minimum quantity requirement of 3 quantity applies the vendor rule as the first priority for this line even though a pricelist exists for 5 units, the vendor rule takes precedence.
If no vendor-specific pricing is available, the system applies the pricelist rule as the second priority specifically, a pricelist rule that includes a vendor.
The pricelist rule with the specified vendor is applied, holding second priority in the purchase price hierarchy.
It acts as a fallback option when neither a vendor rule nor a vendor-specific pricelist is applicable.
This rule is applied only when no vendor is set in the pricelist.
