| SIFP API for VAT/NIF Consultation |
Note: You will have to requesr AGT for access credentials to API Service or use credentials someone may share with you. Starting from 1st January 2026 all documents issued in Angola should make reference to an existing Customer NIF on the national SIFP database. Additionally, companies can issue documents using a special NIF '999999999', but this NIF has limited applicability and can not be used for companies. 1. Features This module allows you to: - Validate NIF when you create / edit a partner (onchange vat); - Adds a button "Check NIF" to partner form that allows you to manually check NIF - usefull for existing databases; - Allows you to automatically re-validate NIF after a specified number os days (set on settings) during invoice/payment validation; - Non existing NIF will be automatically removed from partner data; - Partner name will automatically match the name found on SIFP database; 2. Data Besides NIF and partner name, system wiill also record additional important data that can be used for other implementations. This data includes: - VAT Regime; - Activity State; - Taxpayer state; - ...other usefull information;  3. Setup the module Afer installing the module you need to access Settings > General Settings > Integrations:  4. Other info Module tries to prevent user from stop working under: - In case of API server unavailabily system will allow user to register / edit customers (make sure to double check before register/edit NIF under this conditions); - System will allow to validate documentos for non verified NIF; - NIF registered under this conditions will be marked as "not verified" and will be verified as soon as the connection is restablished and a document is issued to the customer; - Re-validation is only performed for customers; - User is allowed to register any NIF for foreign partners since system only verifies customers with country = Angola or customers with no country set; - Correct/valid API username/password are mandatory for the system to work. If you wish to disable the system in backend, enter a wrong endpoint (not advised); Module have been tested on core odoo with no custom modules installed so, there's no garantee it should work with other custom modules |
