Product Containers Tracking module for Odoo v12

When you purchase this module you will also receive the Product Containers Customer module, the price tag is for the package.
If you already own the Product Containers Customer module, then the price is 99 EUR.
The module extends the functionalities of Product Containers module.
It enables the tracking of containers and pallets.
You can track them by lots or serial numbers, depending on which one you need.
By having them tracked, it makes it easier to return them to vendors or retrieve them from customers.

General features:

Track your containers and pallets, so you know exactly where they are.
Assign them a lot or serial number upon reception or at inventory adjustment.

Locate them:

You can use the Locate button to see exactly where the container or pallet is at the moment.
Clicking on it will show you the Quants of the selected lot/serial number.

Traceability report:

The next button is Traceability Report, so you can see all the moves of the container or pallet.
Clicking on that will display the report with every move of the selected lot/serial number .

How to use the module?

Apply lot or serial numbers to the containers/pallets:

  • If you open the product for container or pallet you can click on "Update qty on hand" at the top.
  • This will take you to the Inventory Adjustment and automatically select the container/pallet.

  • Just click on the Start inventory button.
  • Under Inventory Details you will be able to add as many lines as you wish, depending on how many different lots/serial number you need.
  • For each line you will have to apply the Lot/Serial number.

  • After that, you will have to set the Real quantity of containers/pallets you are receiving.
  • When you're done, just click on Validate inventory to finish the process.

Quants and Traceability report
  • If you navigate to Master data > Lots/Serial numbers you will see every container and pallet you have.

  • You can see some information at the bottom, but there are 2 buttons for more detailed information at the top right.

  • The Locate button will take you to the Quants for that Lot/Serial number, where you can easily see the location of your container/pallet.

  • Traceability report will open exactly what it says.
  • Here you can see all the moves made for the selected Lot/Serial number.

We provide access to all versions prior to and including Odoo Version 12.
With Odoo Version 13 and newer versions every version will be sold separately.
This module is only compatible with Community version. It is not available on Enterprise (on-premise or Odoo.sh).
The module cannot be installed on Odoo Online (Cloud), since it doesn't allow third-party modules.
For this module to work, you need the basic Inventory module with access to products, Product Containers module and Product Containers Customer module.
