Recurrent activity for any existing Odoo object
Each activity recurring rule represents a template where you can define:
- Target document: the partner 'John Brown', the Opportunity 'Quote for 100 chairs', the order 'SO012-2019', etc.;
- Responsible user;
- Regularity: when and how frequent an activity should be repeated;
- Deadline period: an activity creation date plus specified period in days (use the field 'Deadline in x Days');
- Notes.
Plan a recurring activity for any task with any regularity
Rules for scheduled activities is available from the Systray
Have an unlimited number of rules for repeated activities
Configurable recurrence
- By days: generate an activity every day, each 5 days, each 181 days
- By weeks: assign a task on definite week days (e.g. on Mondays and Thursdays) each week or each 2,3,7,... weeks
- By months:
- For the first month day
- For the last month day
- For the exact date, e.g. the 16th
- For a definite weekday, for instance, the first Monday, the last Friday, or the third Tuesday
- By years: on an exact year day, e.g. on the first of September each year
Repeat an activity each month in a proper day
Recurring activities planned by days
Plan regular activities per years
Secured activities
- Any internal user has right to observe own recurring activities
- Users with the right 'Only Own Recurrent Activities' may create, update and unlink recurring activities related to their users
- Users with the right 'All Recurrent Activities' or with the right 'Administration > Access Rights' have full rights for all rules
Security for scheduled activities' rules
By default Odoo checks repeated activities every day early in the morning. You can change it. To that end go to:
- Settings > Technical > Automation > Scheduled Actions > Recurrent Activities
According to the current Odoo Apps Store policies:
- every module bought for version 12.0 and prior gives you access to all versions up to 12.0.
- starting from version 13.0, every module version should be purchased separately.
- disregarding the version, purchasing a tool grants you a right to all updates and bug fixes within a major version.
Take into account that the faOtools team does not control those policies. For all questions, please contact the Odoo Apps Store representatives directly.
The easiest approach is to use the Odoo store built-in workflow:
1. Open the module's page and click the button Deploy on odoo.sh
2. After that, you will be redirected to the GitHub page. Login to your account and click 'Create a new repo' or use the existing one. Please, make sure, that your repository is private. It is not permitted to publish the apps under the OPL-1 license. If necessary, create a new repo for your Odoo.sh project
3. Then, go to odoo.sh and click on the deploy button, submit the decision in the pop-up window and click 'Continue'. The action will trigger the installation process.
These steps will install the app for your project production branch. If you want to deploy the apps for other branches or update the module, you should undertake the following actions:
1. Upload the source code for the app from the Odoo store
2. Commit the module to a required GitHub repository. Make sure that none of the app folders/files are ignored (included in the .gitignore of your repo). Repositories are automatically created by odoo.sh, which might add by default some crucial items there (e.g. /lib). You should upload all module directories, subdirectories, and files without exceptions
3. Deploy a target branch of the odoo.sh project or wait until it is automatically built if your settings assume that.
Unzip the source code of the purchased tools in one of your Odoo add-ons' directories;
Re-start the Odoo server;
Turn on the developer mode (technical settings);
Update the apps' list (the apps' menu);
Find the app and push the button 'Install';
Follow the guidelines on the app's page if those exist.
Yes, sure. Take into account that Odoo automatically adds all dependencies to a cart. You should exclude previously purchased tools.
A red/orange warning itself does not influence features of the app. Regretfully, sometimes our modules do not pass standard automatic tests, since the latter assumes behavior which is in conflict with our apps goals. For example, we change price calculation, while standard Odoo module tests compare final price to standard algorithm.
So, first of all, please check deployed database features. Does everything work correctly?
If you still assume that warning influences real features, please contact us and forward full installation logs and the full lists of deployed modules (including core and third party ones).
No, we distribute the tools only through the official Odoo apps store
Regretfully, we do not have a technical possibility to provide individual prices.
No, third party apps can not be used on Odoo Online.
Yes, all modules marked in dependencies are absolutely required for a correct work of our tool. Take into account that price marked on the app page already includes all necessary dependencies.
The price for our modules is set up in euros. The Odoo store converts prices in others currencies according to its internal exchange rate. Thus, the price in US Dollars may change, when exchange rate changes.

Do you have any other way to do so ?
Thank you below is my previous message do you have an app that does so ? "Example: A new opportunity comes to the system then depending on its stage and other details you want to start a template of activities for a specific user ( if left empty then it will apply on the user owner of the opportunity ) then after x days start a second activity then a third one... Is this possible example like the action plan in salesforce " Hello! If I correctly understand your question: our app does not allow to prepare recurring activities based on events (like creation or state change). The tool let create activities for existing objects with pre-defined periodicity. However, in order you can test it by yourself we sent you a direct message with the link to testing environment in order you can check features by yourself.

Hello Daly! Regretfully, we do not have such an app.
Can your app Automate the action plan?

Suggested Improvement
I purchased this module based on the limited visual illustrations. The Action selection capacity is somewhat limited and would be 100% better if it was to look at standard Odoo Actions, and then have recurring capacity. I made this small summary video in an attempt to better explain. I also tried to raise this via a ticket on the developers site, yet that didn't seem to work for me either... http://sme.ec/r/M7e
Re: Suggested Improvement
Hello Anthony, it seems that you confused the app to post a review: 1. The module doesn't relate to server actions, but it is to create ACTIVITIES 2. It seems that the screen shots cover all the major situations. In case of any doubts you may ask us for a demo database 3. You may contact us any time in our support system – https://odootools.com/my/tickets/newticket – after short registration by the email address only. In case you previously sent us requests and forgot the password you may also re-set it. 4. The video you referenced is a sort of video for the questions our tool seems to have nothing in common. In case we are not correct, could you please elaborate what you offer to improve in the app with a few examples? We are always prone to enhance our apps.
