How the Payment Link Works
Our module uses a "Security-First" approach to facilitate seamless online collections. By extending the Payment Link Wizard, the system dynamically generates encrypted URLs using a high-security HMAC-SHA256 token. This ensures that every link is tamper-proof and uniquely tied to the specific partner, amount, and document. It features an intelligent Balance Detection engine that automatically calculates residual amounts for invoices and pending totals for sales orders. Integrated with a One-Click Clipboard utility, it allows your team to instantly share secure payment portals, ensuring faster reconciliation and a frictionless checkout experience for your customers.
Instant Access via Action Menu
Generate secure payment links without leaving your document. Simply navigate to any Sales Order or Quotation and select the "Generate a Payment Link" option from the Action menu. This seamless integration ensures your sales team can initiate collections as soon as a deal is struck.

Configure & Copy Payment Link
Once the wizard opens, the Payment Reference and Amount are automatically fetched from the document. You can customize the amount for partial payments if needed. The system instantly generates a secure, encrypted URL. Simply click the "Copy Text" button to copy the link to your clipboard for instant sharing.
One-Click Sharing: The integrated "Copy to Clipboard" widget eliminates manual errors, allowing you to paste the link directly into an Email, WhatsApp message, or SMS for your customer.
Seamless Customer Checkout Experience
When your customer clicks the link, they are directed to a clean, Professional Payment Portal. The system automatically displays the correct Reference and Amount. Customers can securely complete the transaction using any of your configured payment acquirers, such as Stripe, Wire Transfer, or Credit Cards, without needing to log in.
Conversion Focused: By removing the friction of login and providing a direct path to pay, you significantly increase the likelihood of getting paid on time and improve the overall customer experience.
Instant Payment Confirmation & Feedback
As soon as the transaction is completed, the customer receives an Instant Success Notification on the portal. The system confirms that the online payment has been successfully processed, providing immediate peace of mind for the customer and ensuring your Sales Order or Invoice status is updated without delay.
Real-Time Reconciliation: Automated feedback helps reduce support queries regarding payment status, as customers get an immediate "Thank You" message and clear confirmation of their order.
Automated Payment Reconciliation
Closing the loop on your sales process, the module ensures that as soon as the customer completes the transaction, a Payment Record is automatically created and posted in the backend. It captures the transaction reference, payment journal (e.g., Stripe), and total amount, linking everything directly to the original document for effortless accounting reconciliation.
Seamless Accounting: Eliminate manual data entry. The integration with Odoo's standard payment acquirers ensures that your journals are updated in real-time, providing an accurate financial snapshot at all times.
Fully Reconciled & Paid Status
The entire process culminates in a Fully Paid status for your document. Once the customer pays through the link, the system automatically marks the Invoice or Sales Order as paid. You can see the Payment Confirmation widget directly on the form, showing the exact date and amount paid, ensuring your books are always up to date without any manual intervention.

Our module provides a Unified Payment Experience by integrating directly with Odoo's Invoicing module.
