Odoo Website Stripe Bancontact Payment
Stripe is the largest used odoo eCommerce payment gateway used by worldwide. Bancontact is Belgium's most popular payment method and supported by Stripe. Bancontact is the market leader for electronic payments in Belgium.
Now Odoo Stripe users in Europe can accept Bancontact payments from customers in Belgium. While making the payment process, the Source object is created and website customer is redirected to their bankâs website or mobile application to authorize the payment. The customer takes action to send the amount to you through a Standard stripe redirect page and there is immediate confirmation about the success or failure of a payment.
The Stripe Bancontact app provides additional support for "Bancontact" payment gateway for Belgium based eCommerce websites. In Odoo the Stripe Bancontact method customer will redirect to stripe Bancontact page and need to provide payment info. The customers will be redirected to "checkout success" page after the successful payment.
Transaction ID captured in the order and store in the sales order and Payment Transaction.
Bancontact is a push-based, single-use and synchronous method of payment it means your customer takes action to send the amount to you through a redirect page and there is immediate confirmation about the success or failure of a payment.
Bancontact only support EUR ( â¬) currency and minimum order total more then 0.5 â¬.

Publish a new payment method to active for website users.
After publishing Stripe Bancontact visible in the checkout page.
On Pay now button click you will redirect to stripe Bancontact page.
You can pay with card or mobile app and redirect to the checkout success page.
Recorded Bancontact payment transaction in your Stripe account.
Transaction id will be stored in the odoo payment transaction.
