Average Landed Cost

Calculates average landed costs of products

Overview

Landed costs include all charges associated to a good transfer like product cost, shipping charge, customs, risks etc. However, every component might not be applicable in every shipment, but relevant components must be considered as a part of the landed cost. Therefore, the business organizations have to identify landed cost to decide sales price of product as it directly impacts the company profits. Average Landed Cost application helps the end user to calculate the average landed cost of products before it gets applied on the product cost. The average is calculated using the Compute Average button set in the inventory module. Using this, the end user can easily calculate the product cost based on the average landed cost of each products.
