Overview
One of the most important elements of a successful sales strategy is inspiring your sales team. The commission-based plan encourages your sales teams and salespeople to meet their targets and increase their profits. The CRM Commission Plan has adopted the capability of a Commission Plan module, which provides financial incentives to encourage salespeople to reach their quota. There are two sorts of commission plans in the CRM commission plan, which are categorised by product and revenue. Under revenue, there are two categories: straight commission and graded commission. Additionally, with a well-structured plan that can be created from the start, the salesperson and the sales team are compensated based on the business Opportunities they bring into the firm.

Configuration
For creating new commission plans:
1.Creating new commissions
2.Choose the Commission's form
For adding Commission for salespeople and sales teams:
1.Go to CRM -> Configuration -> Salesperson or Sales team
2.Edit the Sales team or Salesperson
3.Select a commission category
4.Save it
For printing the Commission's report in XLSX:
1.Go to CRM -> Configuration -> Salesperson or Sales team
2.CRM -> Reporting -> Commission Report
Work Methods
The Configuration tab of the module and the Commission Plan menu both provide access to the Commission Plan window. Here, all of the Commission Plan's operational information related to the operation of the Odoo CRM will be shown.
From the Commission Plan window, you can enter the Commission Plan Creation window, where you may choose the Type and Product Wise choices. Additionally, it is possible to establish the Product Categories in relation to the corresponding Product Category-based Commission Plan.
Straight Revenue Commission Plan: Revenue-based Commission Plan
The Commission type can be changed to Graduated Commission when creating a Graduated Revenue Commission Plan. The Graduated Revenue Commission option also allows you to define the commission rate.
There will be a dedicated tab for the Commission Plan in the CRM Commission Plan under the appropriate Salesperson description page, where the relevant Commission Plan with regard to the operation can be defined.
