Overview
In Odoo ERP you can set expiry date for any product.Suppose we overlook an expired product and try to sell it. In such a scenario, this application issues an alert by utilizing the "End of life date" you've defined for the product. Hence, the initial step is to set an Expiry date for the product.

Work Methods
Inventory --> Inventory Control --> Lots/Serial Numbers allows you to specify the expiration date.Based on the date you enter in the "End of Life" box, the software generates an expiry warning.
You will see this mistake if you choose a product for which there are insufficient substitutes in the stock.
When you choose a product that has expired from the inventory, this notification is generated.
