Since Odoo V13(Enterprise) it is possible to login in multiple companies at the same time. But when you are logged in as a multiple company user you will see multiple journals and GL accounts. Especial when you hold the chart of account all the same suddenly you see more 2,3,4 or more the same GL accounts. Which one was linked to company that you are working in (at the moment)?

Therefor we introduce a company code. That will appear behind the GL acocunt and the journals. So when you go to your dashboad you have a clear picture which journal you are looking at.

How does this module work?

Step 1) Go to company and set a code your that company.
max. 4 characters long

Step 2) See the result, whenever you need to select a GL acocunt or journal
you will see the short code behind it. So no need to open the form view and to check
and to check the company. No issues anymore with invoices / sales order etc that are created
with multi-company user and a user with multi-company code can not see due to access rights.
