FORECAST ANALYSIS REPORT
Inventory forecasting is a method used to predict inventory levels for a future time period. It also helps keep track of sales and demand so you can better manage your purchase orders. It is a great forecast analysis report which provides a correct analysis of stock and that can increase your companyâs revenue and decrease unnecessary costs.

HOW TO USE THIS MODULE
After installing this module, An additional tab will appear in Product master as more info,
here you can define product category, product type, product brand, sub-category and sub-type.
In Reporting Menu, you can see Forecast Analysis Report.
A popup window will be opened, where you can specify the duration from the list of selection provided.
Duration based upon:
- Last 3 months
- Last 6 months
- Last 12 months
- Last 24 months
- Last 36 months
- Last 3 months
- Last 6 months
- Last 12 months
- Last 24 months
- Last 36 months
Since, no filter is selected, it will display all the products along with its Sales Quantity,
On Hand values, Pending Stock and Min stock. Suggested Status on the right side, is nothing
but the forecast quantities.
Clicking on each product, it will provide you a form view, where all the details are mentioned.
In this case, Product On Hand Quantity is 8 and the forecasted quantity is 128 , so the pending quantity
will be 120.
Another scenario, the Product On hand Quantity is 80 and the sales quantity is 5 , so the suggested or the
forecast quantity will be 75. Consumption Report based on product category.
Forecast analysis can also be done for particular product on the basis of category, type and brand.
Product category wise analysis report
We also provide additional feature, where you can add buffer quantity to the products.
Here 10% Buffer Qty is mentioned for product category Furniture.
As seen in the reference image above, the suggested quantity is increased upto 10%.
