Two-factor authentication for Odoo
with customizable whitelist to disable two-factor authentication
This module allows you to use two-factor authentication in combination with Odoo. It gives you secure access when you want to work on the road or at home. The two-factor authentication is an additional security measure to protect an account and personal data. Instead of just entering a password, successful logging into an account requires a further security measure such as a PIN or code, which is sent via SMS or app. A typical example is the bank card in combination with a PIN at an ATM.Activate and manage for every user
Can be activated individually for each user: Activate "Allow External Access" check box in user settings.
Access data for the respective user can be viewed in their preferences.
QR code for easier and faster setup in corresponding apps, tested with Google Authenticator.
Configure whitelists for connections
Create global whitelists for different IP address ranges from which users can log in without two-factor authentication: "Settings" → "Technical" → "Two Factor Authentication" → "Whitelist"
The IP address from which the module is installed is automatically added. No risk to lock yourself out of your system.
