Odoo Web push notifications allows you to send instant web push notifications to the visitors to your site. It allows the users to re-engage even if they are offsite. It uses the google firebase to send push notifications.

Web push notifications are notifications that can be sent to a user via desktop web and mobile web. These are alert style messages that slide in at the top or bottom right hand corner of a desktop screen.
Odoo Web Push Notifications enables you to send push notifications to your customers regarding information about ongoing offers and discounts on your Odoo website.
The module even lets you sort categories for selected users and notify them as per their demands and needs accordingly. You can easily save the registration id of the viewers and send push notifications to them.

Validated Template

Create Firebase Project
- Go to the link https://console.firebase.google.com/ Login with your gmail account.
- Add New Project.
For creating a firebase project follow these steps:
- Fill the details.
- Click on CREATE PROJECT button.
- Click on setting icon.
- Go to Project Settings.
- Go to Cloud Messaging.
- Copy Server key. Paste this Server Key in the configuration of Push Notification.
- Click on setting icon.
- Go to Project Settings.
- Go to General tab.
- Create a web app under this firebase project.
- Fill the details of web aap.
- Then click on Register App button.
- Click on setting icon.
- Go to Project Settings.
- Go to General tab.
- Go to bottom of the page.
- Copy the congig object. Paste it in the configuration of push notification.
