There are three different "discount configurations apply" that are: line discount, global discount, and all

Set the configurations for global discounts and apply the pin as a limit discount for the cashier.
Set the discount authentication pin when limit discount is applied for the cashier.
After starting the POS session enter the quantity, price, and global discount.
The discount exceeds the limit set by the company, so the cashier will get a pop-up on the screen for entering the pin to bypass the discount limit.
Upon entering the correct pin as determined by the company, the global discount will be applied.
Set the configurations for line discounts and apply the pin as a limit discount for the cashier.
Enter the correct authentication pin to bypass the discount limit set by the company.
Set the configurations for line discounts and apply the pin as every time for the cashier. And it will ask for the discount pin by default regardless of the discount.
Entering the wrong pin will show a pop-up for the wrong pin.
