Set Up
To begin with, have the Print Sequence Controller Module downloaded in your system. For its proper setup, go through the steps below.
Firstly, you need to install the Print Sequence Controller App from Odoo Apps. It's easy to locate, just search for the name, you can identify it with the change radio button icon. Ta-da, you are ready to go!!
Apps > Print Sequence Controller > Install
Work Flow
Go to Settings > Technical, scroll down to the Actions section > Report Re-Sequence and click on it.
Now, click the 'New' button to change the report sequence for the selected model. You will see the form view below.
We will change the sequence for the Purchase Order print action. By default, the print action menus for Purchase Orders are Purchase Order and Request for Quotation. Now we will change the report sequence like Request for Quotation and Purchase order Using this from.
For that, we are selecting the Purchase Order model. When you select the model, it's report actions are automatically added under the Report section. After that, you can change the order of the reports as needed using drag and drop for example, Request for Quotation and Purchase Order.
Now, you can see that the sequence of print reports in the Purchase Order form view has been updated according to your changes. Same as you can change the report action label.
