How the Stock Portal Works
Our module uses a "Transparency-Driven" approach to streamline warehouse operations for your customers. By extending the Odoo Stock Portal, the system ensures that every picking record is accessed through a secure and verified environment. It features a Real-Time Inventory Engine that dynamically retrieves picking data (Deliveries, Receipts, and Transfers) based on the logged-in user's partner ID and access rights. Integrated with a Live Sync Utility, it ensures that any status update in the warehouseâfrom 'Waiting' to 'Done'âis reflected instantly on the website. This provides customers with an up-to-the-minute view of their supply chain, reducing manual status requests and improving overall operational trust.
Access Stock Records via Customer Portal
Login to the website portal and navigate to the "My Account" section. You will find a dedicated "Stock" document menu that displays the total count of warehouse operations (Deliveries, Receipts, Transfers) assigned to you. This gives customers a high-level summary of their inventory movements at a single glance.
Quick Overview: The counter on the "Stock" button automatically updates whenever a new picking is created or validated in the Odoo backend.
Comprehensive Stock Picking Overview
Clicking on the Stock menu opens a detailed list of all Stock Pickings. Users can view essential information like Scheduled Dates, Origin Documents, and real-time Status Badges. We've included a powerful Search Bar and Quick Filters (Customer & State) to help users find specific shipments or receipts instantly without scrolling through long lists.
Advanced Filtering: Effortlessly filter by 'State' to see only 'Assigned' or 'Done' pickings, providing better clarity on pending warehouse operations.
Dynamic Customer & Partner Filters
Efficiently manage multi-partner stock records. Our module includes a Smart Dropdown Filter for Customers. This allows users who manage multiple branches or partner accounts to quickly isolate stock movements for a specific entity. The list updates dynamically, ensuring that only relevant data is displayed based on the selection.
Personalized View: Users only see the customers they are linked to, maintaining strict data privacy and security within the portal.
Filtered View & Status Tracking
Once a filter is applied, the portal displays a Refined List of Stock Pickings. Each row clearly shows the Picking Number, Scheduled Date, and the finalized Date Done. The visual Status Badges (Done, Assigned, Draft) help customers track the exact stage of their shipments or receipts, providing full transparency of warehouse operations without any backend access.
Real-Time Status: Statuses are synced directly with the Odoo Inventory module, ensuring that customers always see the most up-to-date information.
Advanced State Filtering & Tracking
Warehouse operations can be complex, but tracking them shouldn't be. Using the State Filter, portal users can instantly group records by their current operational stageâwhether it's Draft, Waiting, Assigned (Ready), or Done. This allows for precise monitoring of logistics and helps customers stay informed about the progress of their shipments or receipts.
Operational Clarity: Users can quickly filter out 'Cancelled' or 'Draft' records to focus only on active warehouse movements that require their attention.
Pending Orders & Signature Tracking
Enhance accountability with advanced tracking. The portal view displays Pending Order References and a clear Signature Status badge. This allows customers to see which stock operations are still waiting for verification or a signature, ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks during the delivery or receiving process.
Visual Alerts: The "Not Signed" badge acts as a quick reminder for users to complete necessary documentation for their pending warehouse operations.
Instant Search & Global Data Retrieval
To provide a truly seamless experience, we have integrated a Dynamic Search Bar. Whether you are looking for a specific Picking Number, an Origin Document, or a particular Warehouse Operation, the search bar delivers results instantly. This ensures that even with thousands of historical stock records, your customers can find exactly what they need in seconds, making the portal incredibly efficient.
