Odoo Capacity Planner for Projects
As an alternative to Odoo Planner, we are offering a new concept for Capacity Planning within Odoo.
- For Project-based Manufacturers
- For Professional and IT Services
- For Construction-based companies
Put simply, our Capacity Planner allows for:
Daily, Weekly, Bi-Weekly, or Monthly planning schedules
Setup your plans how you like - some work areas may need weekly planning, other work areas may work best with a
monthly plan. With Odoo Capacity Planner, you decide "how often" you would like to schedule a specific work
area:
Kanban Planning Cards to track assignments and capacity
At-A-Glance view of Weekly Work-areas, Assigned hours, Number of tasks within the period, Assignee list, Remaining Hours, and more. In addition, "colors" define availability (RED if the card is over-booked, YELLOW if there is less than 1 hour available), as well as Tags can be generated (with your own custom color) to highlight work areas as progress moves forward:
Task View identifies Planning Status
Within the Tasks module, you can readily see the Plan Status of the task. Based on the Task's Initially Planned Hours, and subtracting the Number Of Planned Hours, you can visually see which tasks are well-planned, and which are still in need of planning:
In addition, you can see the Planning schedule directly from the Task on the new Planning Tab:
Finally, for any Task that has remaining hours to Plan, our "Add From Available" wizard allows you to quickly
identify Tasks that require work in the coming weeks, and assign them to the various Work Plan cards:

Leveraging the Plan Assignments views, you can review workers and weeks, to identify capacity and availability for more tasks:
Printouts To Distribute To Your Team
Finally, PDF Reports can be generated and disseminated to team leaders - either By Work Areas, or By Assignee:
