The Product Restriction on Users module allows the admin to control product access based on individual user profiles. This module enhances product management within the system by enabling different visibility and access levels for users across various sections, such as the website, Point of Sale (POS), and sales quotations. User Selection for Access Control:
- Administrators can easily select users to assign specific product access levels, and permissions individually.
Access by Product and Category:
- Offers options to enable or restrict access to products globally or based on categories, making management more efficient.
Product-Specific Access:
- Allows granular control by permitting or denying access to individual products within the system.
Visibility on Website, POS, and Sales:
- Based on user permissions, selected products appear or disappear on the website, POS, and sales quotations, providing a seamless experience.
Access Management on the Backend:
- Admins can manage which product categories are accessible for users directly in the backend, simplifying admin.
Dynamic Quotation Creation:
- Users can generate quotations with only the products they have access to, ensuring accuracy.
Product Restriction on Users Steps to Configure
- Go to Settings -> Users and Company -> Users.
- Select the user and click on the Access Products tab.
- Set access permissions on products and select items from the available list.
- After Selecting products, enable product restrictions on users.
- Selected products will appear on the website shop page and product, in POS products, sales products, and in the list when creating a new quotation.

Settings
Click on the user to access their profile.
User Profile
Select the Access Products tab to continue.

Select access on the category and pick a category type from the available options.

View products of the chosen category type displayed on the shop page.
eCommerce -> Products
Show products from the selected category type.
POS -> Products
Selected category-type products are displayed on the POS.
Sale Products
All products from the selected category type are displayed in the sale section.
Quotation
Access the selected category to see all product lists included in the quotations.
