Use predefined Excel templates to print odoo reports
User Guide
Step 1: Define an Excel report template
- Get data in any cell wrapped in square brackets Python expression, for example: [self.name];
- If you need to loop to get the data of the list, you need to add a comment in the cells of the first column, the format is: <docs|doc>
- The docs code contains a list of data, doc represents one of the data, or it can be replaced with other variables, such as <self.order_line|line>
Step 2: Under the Setting > Technical > Reports menu, add a new report of type Excel
The path to the Excel template can be relative to any module
Step 3: Like a regular PDF report, click in the model's print menu to get an excel report.
