Cash On Delivery Payment

This module will allow the Cash On Delivery payment method in website transactions. This will help the customers or visitors to buy products with the COD payment method.

COD Payment is available in Payment Acquirers as a separate method in Odoo back-end. This can be configured by the administrator and make available as per the requirements

Configuration

Let's follow the below steps to configure the COD Payment and make it available for the use on the website.

After the successful installation of the module, the COD Payment option will be available in the Payment Acquirers dashboard.

COD Payment Acquirer module installed as per the below image

Website > Configuration > Payment Acquirers

Now create and configure new Cash On Delivery options

Under the Configuration tab set various options such as Payment form, Availability in different countries, etc.
Here the COD options will be available in three countries as per the below image. You can set as per your need.

Under the Fees tab set the different fees options to give you exactly what you need.

Now there are various messages available under COD Messages Tab that make this payment method more user-friendly.
These messages can be updated as per the requirements.

Here Cash On Delivery availability can be enabled/disabled for a product as per need from the back-end.

Website > Product > Open any product > General Information tab

If the Cash On Delivery Available option is unchecked then the COD payment will not be available for that product.

COD Availability

On the website customer or visitors will be able to see the COD availability information on the product detail page.

COD Unavailability

On the website customer or visitors will be able to see the COD unavailability information on the product detail page.

COD Payment

On the payment page, if the customer does not belong to the countries configured in COD payment acquire then a below message will appear on the page and the COD option will disable.

If the order amount not in between the Min/Max Order Amount of COD (defined under COD configuration) then the COD option will not be available and the below message will appear on the payment page.

If the cart contains a product in which the COD Available option is disabled then it will show the below message.

customers will able to see the Cash On Delivery option for the payment, if the cart contains only those products in which the COD option is enabled.

Order confirmed by Cash On Delivery payment.

Sales Order is created with COD payment acquirer.

Website > Orders > Open Order S00036

COD Transaction View

COD transaction

COD Transaction will be created as per selected sales order, customer and amount.

Invoicing > Configuration > Payment Transactions > Open S00036-1

COD payment for all orders created with Cash On Delivery.

Sales > COD Payment

Confirm COD Payment

User can confirm COD payment by clicking on "Confirm" button.

After confirmation, user can done COD payment by clicking on "Done" button.

Cash On Delivery Payment Report View

User can also print Cash On Delivery payment report in PDF format.
