Advanced User Access and Role Control Odoo Apps
Simplify Access Management module for Odoo is designed to strengthen user access control. It enables administrators to limit access to specific features like chatter visibility, debug mode, and record viewing permissions. Additionally, this module allows users to be filtered within any module for record access, providing a more tailored and secure management experience.
User Defined Filters
The user can add custom filters for specific modules as needed.
Hide Any Action
Admin can restrict and hide specific actions (Create, Edit, Delete, Print, Export, etc.) based on user access rights.
Hide Debug Mode Button
User can hide/invisible Debug Mode button from the header.
Hide Kanban View
User can hide/invisible Kanban view from the all modules.
Hide Chatter
User can hide/invisible Chatter from the all form views.
Hide External Link
User can hide/invisible External Link from the Module.
Chatter In Form View
Here, the user can view the chatter in the Sale Order form view.
Under Settings > Users & Companies > Users, a field named "Hide Chatter" is available. If enabled, the chatter will be hidden from all form views. Additionally, another field, "Simplify Access Management", must be enabled to allow users to manage these access restrictions.
Now, in the Sale Order form view, the chatter is hidden/invisible.
Hide Debug Mode Button
Under Settings > Users & Companies > Users, a field named "Hide Debug" is available. If enabled, the Debug Mode button will be hidden from all views.
Here, the user can see that the Debug Mode button is hidden/invisible from the header.
Hide/Invisible Internal/External Link Button
The Internal/External Link arrow is visible, allowing users to redirect to the customer detail form view. Now, the user can hide this Internal/External Link arrow button to prevent redirection
Enable the "Hide External Link" field to hide the Internal/External Link button.
User can see internal/external link button hidden/invisible.
Hide Kanban View
Enable the "Hide Kanban View" field to hide the Kanban View.
User can see Kanban View Button is hidden
User Defined Filters Tab
Under Settings > Users & Companies > Users, the user can access the "User Defined Filters" tab. Here, the user can add custom filters for specific modules as needed.
Customer Filters Wizard
Here, the user can set the filter name, user, model, and other required configurations.
The user can now see the created filter reflected in the Sale Order list view within the search field.
