Overview
The Documents Chatter Link app eliminates redundant file uploads by allowing users to seamlessly link files from the central Odoo Documents workspace directly to any record's chatter.
Instead of downloading a file from your workspace just to re-upload it to a Sales Order or Invoice, simply click the new Add Document button in the chatter. A smart popup allows you to search through your workspace folders and instantly link the existing file.
Example:
You have a company-wide "Terms & Conditions" PDF stored in your Documents app. When sending a quote, simply click the "Add Document" button in the chatter, search for "Terms", and attach it instantly. This saves database storage space and ensures everyone uses the most up-to-date version of the file!

Instant Attachment
Document Linked to Record
Once you click on a document, it is instantly linked to the record's chatter.
