Dynamic domains for Reference field type
Use different domains for different type selected
Odoo ORM have field type Reference(https://www.odoo.com/documentation/14.0/reference/orm.html#pseudo-relational-fields).
This field allow to make reference to records from different models(Leads, Contacts, Sale Orders, Tasks,...).
For example we use this field type for model 'pbx.phone_call'. It's allow to launce phone calls to different models.
Also each phone call can be relaunched to other model manually.
But when user try to select Lead, Odoo return all opened Leads. It's a big list, and it is not convenient to work with him.
It is more convenient to filter Leads who already have contact phone number.
But Odoo lacks the functionality to set domains for a field of type Reference.
Moreover, since different models contain different fields, you need to set different domains for different modules,
depending on which model the user has chosen.
This module implements this functionality.
Look how it work.
The screenshots show the phone call form. The field "Thread"(have type "Reference") allows you to associate this phone call
with different models and different records of these models(Leads, Contacts or Employees).
You can bind this Phone call to different models(Leads, Contacts or Employees):

Depending on the selected model, the domain for that model is automatically set:

When a user selects a Lead, he sees the leads filtered by phone number.

But if you select the Employees model, then the domain for the Employee model is set.

Employee is filtered by phone number.

Because now each model has its own domain.

Use model inherit for add other domains
You can split modules for add other selections
The module allows for each model to define its own filter in a special procedure.
This procedure can be extended by inheriting the model through other modules.
