Sale Order Return

The Sale Order Return module enables users to manage efficiently and track sale orders and their associated delivery returns. Users can initiate returns directly from the sale order without interacting with stock picking.

Features

Return Button in Sale Order:

Users can easily return products by clicking on the "Return" button in the sale order header.

Return Popup:

A popup window allows users to specify the product details and quantities to be returned.

Validation Checks:

The system prevents the return of quantities greater than the originally ordered amount, showing a validation error.

Return Orders Page:

A dedicated "Return Orders" page in the sale order form view lists all return transactions for the order.

Manual Return Orders:

Users can manually create return orders from the "Return Order" menu in the Orders section, selecting the sale order, adding products, and confirming the return.

Purchase Order Integration:

The return process for purchase orders follows the same steps as for sale orders.

1) Return Button in Sale Order:

Initiate product returns by clicking on the "Return" button located in the sale order header.

2) Return Popup Window:

A popup for entering the product and quantity details to be returned. It ensures that the returned quantity does not exceed the ordered amount.

3) How to Return Items:


To return items, first select the products and specify the quantity for each, then click on the 'Return' button to proceed.

4) Validation Error for Returned Quantity:

If the returned quantity exceeds the ordered quantity, a validation error will be displayed.

5) Viewing Return Orders:

In the Sale Order Form view, there is a page named "Return Orders". By clicking on this page, users can view all the returns previously created for a particular Sale Order.

6) Manual Return Creation:

Create return orders manually from the "Return Order" menu, select the sale order, add products, and confirm the return.

7) Confirming Return Orders:

By clicking on the "CONFIRM" button in the screenshot below, the return order will be confirmed.

In the screenshot below, the user can click on the smart button "Quotations" to view the return sale order form.
