Website Submit Quote
Website Submit Quote module allows a customer to request a quote rather than do a checkout. This module is extremely helpful in cases where the price of a certain product cannot be ascertained or there shipping is difficult to be calculated or user wants more discount. The Quote goes to the backend, the backend administrator does the required changes and an email with a payment link, quote amount is sent to the customer. Upon receipt of the same the customer can make the payment and all further process follows.
Key Features
Customer can either request a quotation or do the normal checkout.
Backend administrator can change or update the quotation.
Backend administrator/Sales Person can add discount or make required changes in the quotation.
New Menu created to see all the quotations coming from the new feature of website request quote.
Customer will get an email Notification at every step.
- Navigate to Website >> Shop page.
- Add Product in Cart and then click on Get Quote button.
- Now, a Request for the quotation is send to the backend team.
- After clicking on Get Quote Button, Customer get a thank you message alongwith the quote reference no.
- By clicking on the Continue Shop button, the customer can continue his shopping.
- Customer can view the order details by clicking on the My Orders button.
- Customer will get a mail for their requested quotation.
- Navigate to Website >> orders >> Website Requested Quotation.
- Here, administrator can check the requested quotation in backend.
- Administrator can open quotation and change the price or add discount in order line.
- After making the changes an email is sent to the customer with a final quotation amount.
- Request from website checkbox is checked automatically for all quotations requested by the customers from the website.
- Customer gets an email with a payment link and can proceed with the rest of the checkout flow.
