Prerequisites Installations

HTTPS Server :-
  • Please make sure that your server is secure HTTP or HTTPS, Otherwise while opening camera it will throw js error because media streaming is supported only on HTTPS.
Machine Learning Libraries-
  • Install the libraries present in requirements.txt file provided inside the module.

Setting Access for Users

After Installation of the Face Recognition App, Go to Settings > Manage Users > Select your user.
Provide the user any of below accesses :-

  • User - Can only read and create new image database
  • Manager - Has Super User Access

Creating Employee Database

Manager can create the employee records by filling all the details and uploading employee profile image.

Also user with access of Employee can capture or upload their image and get it verified and added to database by the manager.

Enabling AI based Attendance System

You can anytime enable or disable the AI based facial recognition just by going to :- Configurations > Settings.
Also if any employee is not added to image database then by default they will go through odoo default attendance process.

Attendance History

Whenever any employee login then an attendance record is created. To check attendace record go to :- Attendance History > Open desired employee record.
You will get all the records here such as :-

  • Login time
  • Logout time
  • Worked Hours
  • Image Capture at the time of login, Also if you hover on this image it will show you zoomed image

Get Attendance

Employee can also get their attendance history details over the mail. Just they need to enter the email id and date filter and submit.

This app is 99% accurate in capturing the image of an employee during check-ins. Moreover, it depends on the quality of the camera used, the surrounding environment of the employee, and different angles.

Yes, we have given the flexibility to the managers to enable and disable the app as their work demands.

Yes, the HR face recognition app utilizes many angles of your face to verify an employee's identification. Once trained to recognize an employee, it will recognize a user in different appearances.

Yes, the face images of every employee will be highly secured, and no breaching or misuse of data will occur.

All the managers who have access to approving the timesheet can manage and store the data of every employee's working hours with images.

The original images are stored in a database that is accessible by a manager. An employee can request the manager to change/remove the face image.

This app allows face recognition attendance and primitive mode of attendance as well. A new employee can log in using the primitive attendance method.

we need an option for enable real time tracking (employee set in office in front of the camera timer) after attendance

Thanks for reaching out to us.

We have checked the requirements that you have shared with and currently we are providing an option to Login or mark the attendance through the Face recognition.

For the same you need to manually marked the attendance through by capturing the employees face. But currently we do not have such feature for real time tracking Face recognition.
