It applies on any form where the typical creation of lots is possible, so it can be used from anywhere in the system.

General features:
The module keeps its own track of lot numbers to apply on products.
It automaticaly creates a new lot number, with the next unused number.
If you want to edit the lot number, you can click the "edit" button, which replaces the + button after you use it.
Lot automation in Work order:
The module can easily assign lot numbers in Work orders as well.
Once in the process of Work order, simply click on + button as you would elsewhere.
The next number in order will be added to the product in making automatically.
Serial numbers as well as lot numbers:
The module also supports creation of Serial numbers for such configured products.
The procedure is exactly the same, you just click on the + button.
It is covered in the entire system like lots are.
How to use the module?
Manufacturing Order:
- First, you need to create a Manufacturing Order for any product that has tracking by lots enabled.
- Once you have everything set up the way you want it to be, just click on Confirm, to start the process.
Adding lot number:
- Once the Manufacturing order is confirmed, you can see the + button next to Serial number/Lot field.
- If you click on that button it will generate and automatically add the number into the field.
- In case you want to edit the number after it's been created, you can click on the button that replaces the + and it will open up editing window for that lot.
Checking the lots:
- When you complete setting up the Lot/Serial number, you can click on Check availability, to reserve the Components.
- If everything is as it should be, you can click on Mark as done to complete the Manufacturing process.
- Once it's done, a new button will appear named Traceability. By clicking on it, you will open Traceability report, where you can once again see the same lot number.

We provide access to all versions prior to and including Odoo Version 12.
With Odoo Version 13 and newer versions every version will be sold separately.

Is this module compatible with Odoo Enterprise, or only Community?
Yes it's compatible with Enterprise version (On-premise and Odoo.sh) as well as Community version.
The module cannot be installed on Odoo Online (Cloud), since it doesn't allow third-party modules.

Do I need any additional modules for this to work?
For this module to work, you only need the basic Manufacturing module (mrp).
