Assets Upgrade
"Simple Way to Handle Betterments"
This module allows you to include upgrades for assets and automatically performs related calculations and extended lifecycle accordingly.
Description
The Odoo standard “Assets” module enables you to keep track of your fixed assets. In addition, it helps you to generate automatic depreciation entries monthly, get depreciation board, sell or dispose assets, and perform reports on your company assets.
For most of the businesses, fixed assets represent a significant capital investment; hence, applying the correct accounting procedures is critical. Sometimes, an upgrade can increase an asset’s usefulness or service life, and which should be then recognized by an increase in the asset’s net book value. The “Assets Upgrade” module has a specially designed feature that extends the performance of the Odoo standard Assets module which allows you to include upgrades in the asset form as well as automatically calculating the depreciation while registering associated items and post related journal entries.
