Complete Workflow for Odoo Bulk Product Price Update - Mass Price Update Module
Go to
Users → Technical Settings
and enable the bulk price update option for the required users. Once this is turned on, the Update
Product Price menu will be available under Sales →
Configuration.
Open this menu to access the bulk update screen. From here, prices can be updated using options like reset, increase, or decrease, and changes can be applied
using either a fixed amount or percentage.
If needed, sales prices can also be adjusted based on cost by adding a margin, which helps keep pricing
consistent. Updates can be applied to all products, selected items, or even category-wise, depending on
the requirement.
The system automatically checks for invalid values, so zero or negative prices are avoided. If
any products are skipped, an Excel report is generated for easy review.
Overall, it keeps the process simple, controlled, and much faster when handling large product data.
Odoo Bulk Product Price Update - Mass Price Update Module
1. Activate Developer Mode to access technical settings and user configuration options.
2. Go to Users & Companies -> Users, select a user, and enable "Bulk Product Price Update" in the "OTHER" section.
3. Access the Product Variants list view to review current Sales Prices before performing updates.
4. Navigate to Sales -> Configuration -> Update Product Price to open the mass update wizard.
5. Choose the "Reset" operation and enter a "New Amount" for specific products in the wizard.
6. Verify that the Sales Price for selected products has been updated successfully in the list view.
7. The system reflects updated prices instantly across all selected product variants.
8. Use the wizard to reset prices to a different value for specific items as needed.
9. Confirm the updated Sales Price in the list view for the specific products processed.
10. Apply a price increase by a "Fixed Amount" using the "Increase" operation in the wizard.
11. Check the product form to see the Sales Price increased by the specified fixed amount.
12. Easily apply a price decrease by a "Fixed Amount" for multiple products simultaneously.
13. View the original Sales Price on the product form before applying percentage-based updates.
14. Increase product prices by a "Percentage" for more flexible pricing adjustments.
15. Verify the new price on the product form, recalculated accurately based on the percentage increase.
16. Use the wizard to decrease prices by a specific percentage across selected products.
17. Confirm the percentage-based price reduction on the product detail page.
