Point of Sale POS Lock Period
Point of Sale Lock - Odoo App
This app allow you to lock point of sale for certain period/time. You can specify locking period by Time, Date, DateTime and Day.
Main Features:
- Allow your POS manager to lock Point of Sales for certain period of time. And if user try to create new session or resume old session then system will not allow him/her to do that and raise warning message.
- POS manager can activate or deactivate locking configuration.
- POS manager can create multiple locking period configuration and all will be considered to check locking during new session and resume session.
- Note: Timezone must be set on all POS users. So go to user form and set timezone.
- Allow your POS manager to specify locking period in Time duration, Date duration, Datetime duration and Days.

~: Create a Lock Point of Sale Configuration Record 'Time Wise' :~
- Select a 'Time Wise' option in lock period type.
- Set a your close start time and close end time.
- 'Ronnie Hart' is a Point of Sale manager.

Resume Point of Sale
- 'Gordon Owens' is normal POS user.
- Resume button is pressed by 'Gordon Owens'.
- Gives the following warning to 'gordon owens' as he presses the Resume button at 08:45. The shop is currently locked so he can not.
Disable Lock Point of Sale Configuration Now

- 'Gordon owens' opened the point of sale without any warning now since locking is disabled by Admin/Manager.
~: Create a Lock Point of Sale Configuration Record 'Date Wise' :~
- Select a 'Date Wise' option in lock period type.
- Set a your close start date and close end date.
Resume Point of Sale
- 'Randall lewis' is normal POS user.
- Resume button is pressed by 'Randall lewis'.
- If your current date falls between the closest start date and the closest end date, you will be warned below.
~: Create a Lock Point of Sale Configuration Record 'Datetime Wise' :~
- Select a 'Datetime Wise' option in lock period type.
- Set a your close start datetime and close end datetime.
Resume Point of Sale
- 'Rachel Perry' is normal employee.
- Resume button is pressed by 'Rachel Perry'.
- If your current datetime falls between the closest start datetime and the closest end datetime, you will be warned below.
~: Create a Lock Point of Sale Configuration Record 'Day Wise' :~
- Select a 'Days Wise' option in lock period type.
- Select a your week close days.
Resume Point of Sale
- 'Randall Lewis' is normal employee.
- Resume button is pressed by 'Randall Lewis'.
- If your current day is the same as the lock POS config day, you will see the following warning.
