Disappointed with the functionality and the code quality of the module
I purchased the module and came to a sad realization after downloading and installing it:
You can only generate barcodes for product variants. For product templates, you're out of luck. This is not stated in the readme.
When I generate the PDF, the image of the barcode is simply missing. The attachment was generated and I can download it separately if I want to, but the PDF itself shows no barcode.
The dependency is outdated. pyBarcode is no longer maintained and was forked into python-barcode: https://pypi.org/project/python-barcode/
For some reason, the pyBarcode dependency (version 0.7) is copied next to the addon files. That's not how you manage dependencies
The source code is riddled with commented dead code.
The addon is just a poorly built solution that needs extra work to make it work. I managed to fix everything except 2, which is still a big problem.
Don't get me wrong, 5 EUR is very little money but if you put it out, it should work.
