Give Access rights to user to allow generating product catalogue
In the Product view, click first choose a preferred Style (1 to 5) on the left panel. Then, select products you want to include and tick the checkboxes on the right to display fields like SKU, Description, Price, etc., based on your needs. Once configured, click Download Catalog
Select "Catalog Type" as "Category" to enable product categorization. Choose one or more Categories to display related products in the generated PDF.
Enabling Send by Email allows the catalogue to be sent to the selected Email Recipients. The Send Mail button will be displayed to manually trigger the email.
After catalog generation, PDFs and Mails are automatically attached and logged in the chatter.
This is the Style 1 PDF layout of the Product Catalog. It displays product images, descriptions, price, category, and unit of measure in a clean grid format.
How to Use
Ensure Access: Add user to the group "Product Catalog Manager".
Go to: Product Catalog > Catalogues, Click New to create a new product catalogue.
Select Style & Settings: Choose a layout under Style (Style 1–5), Set Display Options like price, barcode, UoM, description, etc.
Select Products or Categories: Use the Products field to manually select specific items. Or, select a Category to auto-include all products under it.
Click Button: Click Download Catalog to generate and download the PDF.
Send by Email (Optional): Enable Send by Email. Add recipients under Email Recipients. Click Send Mail to email the PDF using the selected Email Template.
View History: See PDF attachments and email logs in the chatter panel for traceability.
