- How It Works
Navigate to → Apps → install this rr_partner_credit_limit module
Navigate to Settings → Invoicing → Enable Credit limit For partner to use Credit limit , As Well Payment due Restrictions, Also it's work With multi-company Environment So it's only work with That Company which have enable this configration settings. !
After enabling the credit limit, two additional fields become visible: Allocated Credit Limit and Remaining Credit. The Allocated Credit Limit allows you to define the partner's credit amount. The Remaining Credit is automatically updated upon saving, factoring in any outstanding dues. If the customer has an existing due amount, it is automatically deducted from the allocated limit, and the remaining credit is displayed. When the customer makes a payment, the remaining credit is updated accordingly.
Let's proceed with the sales order. When you select a customer, their credit limit will automatically be displayed in the header..
After the conform that sale order we created invoice for customer
Let's check the customer Credit limit ,now we can see that customer have zero remaining limit, if they pay this invoice it's automatic get added in remaining credit balance
Now, for this customer, we are unable to create a sales order; only quotations can be generated. There are two options: the first option is to settle the previous outstanding amount And Second one is the sala manager access which is mention in next stage
This model enforces two key restrictions: Credit Limit – Determined by the customer's allocated credit limit. Outstanding Balance – Based on the customer's payment terms and any previous dues. To override these restrictions, the Sales Manager has the authority to approve exceptions.
To enable the Payment Due Restriction, it must first be activated in the configuration settings. This functionality is fully compatible with a multi-company environment, so ensure it is enabled for the relevant companies. Now, let's navigate to the invoice. Here, we can see that there is an overdue payment, as the payment term due date has already passed.
Let's go to the sales module and create a sales order for that customer. You will now see the restriction in place, which applies only to customers who have missed the due date according to the defined payment terms.
