Multi-Company Access Rights

Multi-Company Access Rights
Real Per-Company Privacy
The same user can be Sales Administrator in one company and have zero Sales access in another - each company gets exactly the rights you assign it.
Fully Automatic
Rights follow the company switcher in the top bar. Switch company, the page reloads, access is already correct - no logout, no manual step.
Surgical, Never Destructive
Only groups you explicitly list in a per-company line are ever swapped. Anything the user already had outside those lines is left completely untouched.
One Screen to Audit
A dedicated "Multi-Company Access" menu lists every user, every company, and every group assigned - grouped by user for a fast security review.
Right on the User Form
Configure it where you already manage access: a new "Multi-Company Access" tab on the user form, one line per company.
Built for Real Multi-Company Setups
Reads the same company switcher state Odoo's own webclient uses, so it stays in sync with whichever company the user is actually working in - not just their stored default.
See It In Action
One user, two companies, two completely different access levels - proven by the actual Purchase and Sales menus, not just a settings screen.
1. A new tab, right on the user form
User B is allowed in both "My Company (San Francisco)" and "My Company (Chicago)". The new "Multi-Company Access" tab is where per-company rights get defined - no separate app to learn.
2. One line per company
This line says it plainly: while working in Chicago, this user holds Purchase / Administrator. A separate line (not shown here) gives them Sales / Administrator in San Francisco instead.
3. Every assignment, one audit screen
The Multi-Company Access menu lists every user's per-company lines grouped together - here two different users, each with their San Francisco and Chicago rights side by side.
4. San Francisco: full Sales access
Working in San Francisco, the Sales app shows Reporting and Configuration - the Administrator-level menus the per-company line granted for this company.
5. Same company, no Purchase admin rights
Still in San Francisco, the Purchase app shows only Orders and Products - no Configuration menu. This user's Purchase Administrator rights are reserved for Chicago, and San Francisco correctly doesn't have them.
6. Switch to Chicago - Purchase admin appears
One click on the company switcher and a page reload later: the same user, same login, now sees Reporting and Configuration in Purchase - exactly as configured for Chicago.
7. ...and Sales admin disappears
The flip side of the swap: in Chicago, the Sales app has lost Reporting and Configuration. The Sales Administrator rights stayed exactly where they belong - San Francisco.
